More Roads

You are where you are

and you must decide,

Where you are at

and who's on your side.

It's been said before

that life is a road,

and you must decide what is,

from what you've been told.

You can be material

owning houses and cars.

You can search high and low

looking at stars.

You can pick out a God

and live life with faith,

Or you can decide

that life' only a waste.

Whatever you decide

it makes you unique.

But the things you show

are merely a peek.

Because what's within

only you know,

What others see

is all that you show.

So do what you wish

I truly can't care.

It's your life and

I won't always be there.

Be careful my friend

don't hurt yourself,

Because once you've done that

there isn't much else.

I wish you the best

wherever life leads.

I hope in the end

you finally see,

The beauty's within that

you're searching for now.

And friend, when you find that,

I wish you some more!
