Blue Star Lady

She sits quietly next to me.
Her golden hair, deep blue eyes-
Radiance brightening my shoulder.
Oh my!  Blue Star Lady,
She can never fade on me.

She lies sunning by the sea,
Watching clouds pass in the sky.
When I return she holds me tight.
Yes my Blue Star Lady,
She shines brightly for me.

I love it when we walk the street.
She brings out the best in whomever she meets,
But she knows who she's going to keep.
